We have been working with the General Practice Improvement Plan (GPIP) to make improvements to our appointment booking system.
On the 16th of September we are moving to a total triage model. This means that any request for a GP appointment with be reviewed and triaged (sorted) by a GP. This ensures that everyone gets safe and timely access to the care they need.
How it works
From the 16th September the best way to contact the practice is by completing an online consultation form via the website. If you are unable to complete an online form or your query is urgent please call us and a receptionist will complete the form on your behalf.
The form will prompt you to answer questions relating to your query. Once the answers are submitted the GP will review the information provided. You will then be contacted to book an appointment with the most appropriate clinician, this could be a GP, Nurse, Physiotherapist or a Clinical pharmacist. You may be sign posted to a different service if that best suits your needs.
We are excited to bring this positive change to the practice and we thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we make these improvements.
