Temporary Patients

Visiting Keswick and Require Medical Attention or Advice?

If you are visiting the area and need medical attention or advice, the receptionist will signpost you to the most appropriate service.

As part of the GP Forward View, we utilise many appropriate services for signposting not just for visitors, but our own patients too. This gives GPs time to deal with more complex cases and ongoing chronic disease management. We may request that visitors contact the local pharmacy, NHS 111 or their own GP practice – whichever may be the correct pathway for the patient.

If you are signposted to a service and, after consulting with you, they feel it is necessary for you to be seen at the practice, they will contact us and you will be given either a face to face or telephone appointment with an appropriate health professional.

If you are referred to us from any service, you will be required to attend the surgery and complete all necessary registration forms 20 minutes prior to your appointment.

Forgotten or Run Out of your Medication?

Contact your own registered GP Practice and ask them to provide and EPS Prescription to one of the Keswick community pharmacies. Once your GP has electronically signed the prescription they will send it direct to the pharmacy. You will need to provide them with a pharmacy postcode:
